Arc Leisure Matlock, the biggest ever development by Derbyshire Dales District Council, opened at noon on Wednesday 24 August.
Queues formed outside the entrance to the £12m centre – and minutes after the doors opened the superb new pool hall and fitness suite were full of happy customers.
